I’ve taken a few sewing classes, I once had a dream to make all my own clothes, but it seems like making clothes these days is just about as expensive as buying them from the store. Now, I’m glad that some people are skilled enough to sew daily, and remember how to thread a machine properly. Even if you can sew, you can take the simplicity of this craft and make it even easier on yourself with a machine! However, if you’re similar to me and either can’t afford to own your own machine, can’t figure out the damn Singer, or just want something fun and quick to do without the hassle of dragging the machine and all it’s accessories out, you’ll love this post. Using some Liquid Stitch, Cool Fabric, Velcro and Hair Clips from the craft store (I spent $8 on my materials at Joann Fabric), today I’m making baby bows and bow-ties for Cash and his girly cousins!! I’m going to try to explain this in the simplest way possible, but if you don’t quite understand just let me know any questions you may have and I’ll be happy to explain in more detail. Here we Go!!!! Step One: Step Two: Step Three: Step Four: Now, if you want to use a clip instead of doing a full around-the-neck tie you simply only wrap the pleated part with the small fabric and then: or finish out the full neck-tie by Either way you do it these are bound to look darling on your little ones!! It only took me an hour to make 6 clip on bows and 3 bow-ties so it’s an easy fun project for Mommies to do on playdates!! 😉 Cash really looks adorable in his!!! Fabric Paint & Liquid Stitch, B
