Cash Tillman Thursday’s

Cash recently just had his official 6 month doctor visit and it made me realize he really is growing up too fast! With social media being such a source of daily journaling it’s often hard to remember exact dates (i.e. when he first rolled over, sat up on his own, sampled what fruits, etc) So I wanted to start dedicating one post a week, just for myself (and of course you’re all more than welcome to read 🙂 ) to showcase his adorable baby style, help us all understand his growth, and celebrate his milestones!

This week’s first update: Cash weighed in at the doc at 16lbs 8oz, he was 26 3/8 inches long, with a head circumference of 17 1/2 inches. (No wonder I couldn’t push that head out) This week we got the go-ahead to start introducing solid foods to him little by little. We made him homemade red skin mashed potatoes (organic of course), applesauce, strawberries, Nena gave him bananas, and he devoured some of Grandpap’s delicious corn on the cob! He’s loving all the fruits and veggies a ton, which is an inspiration for James and I to really keep up with a healthy lifestyle to ensure that nutritious foods are always in our home !

Milestones: This week he’s been getting much better at sitting without support, and totally rolled over from back to tummy on his own while playing on the activity gym! Baby boy has 2 teeth on the bottom center, and looks like one is about to break the surface to the left on the bottom, still happy though, not fussy in the least!

This week we also went through his closet since he’s officially in the next size up (6-9), so we sorted through the ones that wouldn’t fit anymore, and washed the cool new summer clothes he’ll soon be wearing!

Today Nena and Grandpap came over and we grilled out and swam in the pool, Cash loved being outside, and loved swimming around in the water!!

This face says it all!!!
