Scavenging on the Beach

Back in 2011 Marc Jacobs released the most perfect not-quite-maxi skirt, there was only one in his collection and at the time it was described as a “mid-calf length” skirt. Over the past 3 years we’ve seen this length come and go throughout summer&fall style, but up until this year it just wasn’t sticking. I’m happy to say it’s finally stuck, and now it’s called The Midi-Length. I love this length for short girls because maxi’s are always too long, and mini’s are still mainly too short, so this is a perfect, refreshing length for people who want to look chic, without showing too much skin! Green Scavenger had one on their website so I HAD to! This one is a nice simple Charcoal Gray Cotton, that’s light and easy to wear, plus the elastic band at the top makes it a good fit for any shape/sized woman.

Last night, my neighbors and I decided to go shark fishing (or at least my neighbors boyfriend was doing that while us girls chatted and drank wine), it was a really great time, and this skirt was perfect on the beach!!!

It looked awesome paired with a simple straw fedora, mint sandals, and a simple cotton tee with mint flowers on it! Such an easy and cozy look that was perfect for sunset at the beach!!!
